Nonyl phenol ethoxylate (NPE-9) is a nonionic surfactant used as an emulsifier, dispersant, and wetting agent in a wide range of industrial applications, including cleaning products, agrochemicals, textiles, paints, and oil and gas. Its benefits include its strong cleaning and dispersing properties, excellent stability, and versatility, though it has environmental and health concerns due to its slow degradation into nonylphenol.  

Uses:
